Initially, I founded my company in Northern Californina in 2003. I wanted to start a business
that allowed me to "feel the earth." Foremost, I wanted to help my dogs, and expand
into the world to help others' pets too. We had a great start, getting our products
into 8 pet specialty shops in the San Francisco East Bay area. Then the real
estate bubble caused most of them to receive a tripling of their corporate leases,
causing many to close.

I moved to Texas in 2006 to have a fresh start with the business. Several obstacles
slowed progress, and then with the onset of the recession, I knew that I had to ponder
what was most important.

When I was a young child, I imagined that I was a mathematics teacher. Playing in
the basement after school, I wrote problems on a black board and lectured to my class.
Never did I imagine working in a corporate setting, and yet this was the reality for
many years of my adult life.

Since a couple of years ago, I have tutored mathematics to students from grade school
through graduate school. I so much enjoy helping people learn - the rewards are innumerable.
And so, this is my new direction. Finally, I am doing what comes most natural and I hope
to inspire every student, from all walks of life, young and mature alike. I encourage
people to never stop learning. So many influential people continue their work with
childlike curiosity all the days of their lives. It is so important for all of us to never
abandon this flame!


Life is full of ebbs and flows. With it, we need to change and keep up with the current.
